HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO COME IN?
The effects of acupuncture are accumulative. Weekly appointments are recommended for the first month. After this a treatment plan is considered, according to your concerns and needs.
DO THE NEEDLES HURT?
The needles used are tiny, like a strand of hair, and definitely nothing like needles used to withdraw blood or inject vaccinations. Overall, it’s not painful and extremely relaxing. Some areas of the of the body are more sensitive, so one can feel a very quick sting, but that lasts less than a second. Most people don’t find it painful, however we are all different and a small percentage are more sensitive than others. I respectfully work with where you’re at, and never push you past your comfort level. Creating a safe space for you is my number one priority, and the scariest thing here is just getting over the mental fear.
CAN I CLAIM ON MY PRIVATE HEALTH FUND?
